SO, this weeked I went and chilled with my homies at KZOO before I go abroad, which is this friday. YES I am in the latest program of forever and I’ve had a 4 month summer. Its mostly awesome.
Friday I got there and chilled with Luis and Gabby for a few hours. I wasn’t sure I was going to go party that night but then i ran into Sonali who changed those plans quickly.
Later Luis, Gabby and I went over to Sully’s and had some pre-party fun. I hit my liquid intake peak around 7:30…yep…then i went over to Dan’s and chilled with him, Kiran, and Leland. We basically just played video games and watched “Its Always Sunny” for hours. I cannot believe I have never seen this show.
BREAKTHROUGH OF THE NIGHT: we got Kiran to make an appearance at the party, even though we only stayed for like 5 minutes…because it was all freshman and not cool. So naturally we all go back to Dan’s and order chinese food. there is a new chinese restaurant in Kzoo called Buddha Belly or something? Basically it is the best name ever and that was enough of a reason to eat uncontrollable amounts of chicken and rice and everything nice.
Tragically, the food did not arrive for 3 hours… BUT we did get a free appetizer that I was too full to enjoy. But I digress.
we also had reverse energy drinks that made you feel like a zombie… called DRANK. made me feel Ghetto. I loved it. Then I went back and crashed in Luis’ suite.
woke up at 1pm the next day and went and chilled with Gabby until like 4. I was intending to actually go home friday afternoon but then I realized that my life at home in Okemos consists of talking to my pets in annoying accents so I decided to stay another night. So, I went and visited Liviy and Claire at their house. Then I tried to see Alex but she was asleep. THEN I ran into Ali at Beaner’s in the lib and got free coffee and made more alcohol plans for the night.
Katy, another Lancaster student came down, since we all have no lives right now, and her, Dan, Leland, and I went to Crow’s Nest. I always love it there. SO FUCKING MUCH LOVE.
Following this was an epic Poetry Slam that made me feel even more untalented and interesting, but seriously these people were SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD.
It was at this time I went over to Ali and Sully’s and had a pre-party party with Ali, Aldo, Mike, and Peter. SO much fun although people kept falling. ( no worries my leg was gonna get fucked up later, i would get my turn.)
went to Lovell and was partying, ran into Shelby which was AMAZING, and a few other ppl.
Then Alex Henne, love her, hugged me so strongly that my knee whipped back and forth only to leave me a gimp.
We wnt back to Dan’s and we all ordered food, they walked me over to Sully’s and I crashed. Woke up at 8:45 and the pain in my knee was so bad that I had to go home then. Basically my knee is healing, or at least it hurts less, but this was one of the most fun weekends ever and was a great send-off for my study abroad in England.
Kzoo friends, I will miss you SO SO SO SO SO much.
